After Route 66 was rerouted for the last time in 1938, then-owner Phillip E. Hesch, who married Louise Cundiff, the widow of the original owner of Two Guns, re-established Harry Miller's zoo on the south side of the canyon.
It's one of Two Guns' more noticeable relics with its eye-catching "Mountain Lions" sign facing Interstate 40.
