With great sadness, I've had to suspend development of the Roadside Resort indefinitely. I'm leaving all the content available, however, so please enjoy.
For years, Harry "Indian" Miller featured the Apache Death Cave as a Route 66 attraction. Shown here in May 1941, it's decorated with Indian figures painted on large slabs of stone.
A sign at the entrance reads, "Old Under Ground Dwelling," alluding to the fake cliff dwellings Miller added to fool tourists.
The base of the figure at center reads, "Some of the interesting things on your side [sic] seeing trip."
The back of the photo reads, "The Original Two Guns when Indian Miller had it."
